- COEFFICENT OF INBREEDING (COI) AND PEDIGREE QUALITY: ABCR offers COI in correlation with the pedigree quality for all ABCR horses online. We encourage all of our breeders to check the COI before breeding, because a COI of below 1 % is recommended to avoid inbreeding depression within a population (DGfZ (1992)).
- SIBLINGS VIEW: ABCR offers siblings views for all ABCR horses online. Find full and half siblings of a given ABCR animal at-a-glance.
- VERTICAL PEDIGREES: ABCR offers vertical pedigrees for all ABCR horses online. Vertical pedigrees list full siblings of each horse in the pedigree at-a glance, which as a group represent various combinations of their parents’ genes, and are good indicators of the range of possibilities that are likely to be passed on. Using vertical pedigree analysis gives breeders interesting insights e.g. about confirmation or the extreme characteristic that cannot be tracked in a direct manner.
- REVERSE PEDIGREES: ABCR offers reverse pedigrees for all ABCR horses online. Reverse pedigrees show offspring of the offspring of a given animal.
