Herd dispersal of a longtime breeder and friend of the ABCR

We received the following herd dispersal note from Marlene & Bruce Tilson in Ontario/Canada:

Our farm ..and All of our curlies [presently in our care] here at Tall Trees Curlies /Bonfield Ontario, Canada…”IS FOR SALE”…Bruce and I are both well into in our eighties now ,and we have have retired from breeding/.. although the stallions decided one stormy night when the hydro failed/and took our fences down..to continue to breed. All these breedings were witnessed /to ABCR pending mares…so all of the new foals expected this early summer will be eligible for Full ABCR registration by the new owners. .
Due to waking up one late June morning…and witnessing “Maximillon” [ our resident senior stallion] was running loose in our back forty with our herd of mares /”happily” doing what he does best ,. [BREEDING] six of our mares.  So we are now expecting six new foals in the coming month of July . Anyone wanting to buy , or adopt/a curly from us ..we are wanting to hear from you. Bruce is not well ,.and cannot continue to keep any of our curlies.

So this past year we have been quickly  “dispersing” as many of the curlies we have left.

Please call “Bruce” and ask him any questions you have about what ones /we have left to re-home  /and help us to find good caring homes. Call us at  [1-705-776-1356]  any afternoon before nine PM…I  am able to send pictures . We will also be posting on Facebook/Marketplace..in the Spring.

Many Curly Regards , Marlene Tilson.
